Especially the ones where an author can successfully pull off surprising twists without any deus ex machina. I'm actually really fascinated by the mystery/thriller writing process. I now see why Coben is such a well-loved writer Tell No One is an addictive wild ride that keeps opening up more and more questions until, suddenly, it all comes together. The exciting premise hooked me instantly, and a combination of fast-pacing, twists, and character dynamics kept me interested until the very last page.
